Huge fire breaks out at Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris
23:50 The Ambassador of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte has expressed gratitude to the Armenian people for solidarity.
"Thank you to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and to all the Armenians who are showing us their sadness and solidarity tonight," the Ambassador said in a Twitter post.

"Huge emotion in front of the fire at Notre Dame de Paris. Our thoughts are with the French people," the Foreign Minister tweeted.

“A feeling of infinite sadness comes to me as I look at the present image of the Notre-Dame de Paris. Armenia shares the emotions of France," the Prime Minister tweeted.

A fire has broken out at the famous Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris and has spread rapidly across the building. The cause was not immediately clear, but officials say that it could be linked to renovation work.
