The next meeting between the top diplomats of Armenia and Azerbaijan is expected to be held in Washington, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told reporters on the sidelines of the high-level conference on the 10th anniversary of the EU's Eastern Partnership programme.
The Foreign Minister refrained from revealing any details.
“We are waiting for clarifications from the hosting side. They should first indicate the convenient time, after which we can assess the timing and reach agreement,” the Foreign Minister said.
As for Stepanakert’s return to the negotiating table, Minister Mnatsakanyan said it is a strongly practical issue.
He further explained that "if Artsakh is not given a chance to be the master of the process, the effectiveness suffers."
"Our approach is very practical and logical,” Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated.
