The Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia has said the disruption of the normal functioning of the courts is unacceptable.
In a statement adopted after a special sitting convened at 9:30 pm today, the Council called on all judges and all judiciary officials to display extreme restraint and act exceptionally within the framework of law.
The Council will express a complete stance on the situation around courts after consultations with prime Ninkol Pashinyan set for Monday, May 20.
The statement comes in the wake of a call by PM Pashinyan to block all exits and entries to the courts in Armenia starting from 8:30. He is also going to address the nation at noon on Monday,
