24.53% cast their ballot in Armenia's parliamentary vote as of 2 pm

A total of 636,055 citizen or 24.53% of eligible voters cast their ballot in the snap parliamentary elections as of 2 pm, the Central Electoral Commission said.

Below is the voter turnout by voting district:

  1. Avan, Nor Nork & Kanaker-Zeytun – 48,618 (24.20%)
  2. Ajapnyak, Arabkir & Davtashen50,940 (23.85%)
  3. Malatia-Sebastia & Shengavit53,472 (23.75%)
  4. Erebuni, Kentron, Nork-Marash & Nubarashen – 46,941 (22.33%)
  5. Ararat55,418 (25.02%)
  6. Armavir50,170 (21.41%)
  7. Aragatsotn32,211 (27.37%)
  8. Gegharkunik49,117 (25.70%)
  9. Lori59,639 (25.12%)
  10. Kotayk58,640 (24.42%)
  11. Shirak50,819 (22.11%)
  12. Vayots Dzor and Syunik48,612 (30.05%)
  13. Tavush – 31,458 (28.92%)

Armenians are voting in an early parliamentary election on Sunday.

Nine political parties and two alliances are running for the National Assembly. These include the Republican Party of Armenia, Citizen’s Decision Party, Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun, My Step bloc, Bright Armenia Party, Christian Democratic Revival Party, National Progress Party, Menk bloc, Orinats Yerkir Party, Sasna Tsrer Party and Prosperous Armenia Party.

The voting will continue through 8 pm. The preliminary results will be announced within 24 hours after the polls close.
