Garo Paylan, Turkish Armenian lawmaker representing the pro-Kurdish HDP Party, has congratulated Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikpol Pashinyan on victory in the parliamentary elections.

The lawmaker congratulated “his friend” Nikol Pashinyan and the Armenian people on victory in a world where the autocrats are ruling," Paylan said.

The early parliamentary elections saw acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s My Step bloc win a landslide victory with over 70 percent of the votes. It will be joined by Prosperous Armenia Party and Bright Armenia to form the new National Assembly.
