Three were killed, seven were injured in an explosion that hit a residential building in Georgia's capital Tbilisi.
A four-year-old child died in hospital hours after the accident, Agenda.ge reported.
The explosion that occured in an apartment building in the Digomi district is supposted be have been caused by gas leak.
"According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred on the fourth floor. Investigation will establish the details," said Teimuraz Kupatadze, head of the patrol police department of the Georgian Interior Ministry.
According to Aliq Media, Georgia will hold a day of mourning on January 17. Flags on state buildings will fly at half-staff tomorrow.
